My new old sewing table

As I have said before I love garage sale-ing. Well I stumbled across one garage sale about a month ago and found and old sewing table that had a "Make Offer" sign on it. Hmmm.....So I offered the lady $4.oo. I brought home my little table needing love. Here is what it looked like..

This is what it looks like after I worked on it.

I added a red measuring tape

It might not be perfect, but gosh, I'm awfully proud of how it turned out. I used a slate blue for the outside and trimmed it with some red paint. I left the wood all stained on the indies part. I felt it added to it's character.
