Ok so this just sucks! I get ambitious enough to bring out the camera and take a photo of the stunning pillow I just finished, only to discover that my poor digital camera has been injured. How could this have happened I hear you ask? Yes you, there in the back , the shy one. Anywho. How else could anything be damaged in the Hovel? Yes you got it, the Wee Ones. (sigh) So now when I take a photo, this is the outcome;
The cushions on this wee bench look like they are plaid, but they are not, it's ticking. Do you like the wee bench? It was made yesterday. Re-purposed from a youth bed, that, yep you guessed it the Wee Ones broke, (sigh). I will be looking for another wooden youth bed this garage sale season so that I can make another such bench for another set of cushions we have. We recently decided to try to create more space in the living room by getting rid of our huge couch. A huge couch in a small, oddly shaped room is not conducive to having much space. We took the cushions from the couch and recovered them with this blue ticking. The brightly colored pillow is the one I just completed, with fabric I purchased from a fantastic store on Etsy, Skye Reve Fabrics. The other white pillows are going to get a colorful make over as well.
I will have to wait till next month to replace my camera. So until further notive you will either be subjected to funky photos or none at all.
